Obligatory "this was wasn't today, and happened last week."
One week ago, my girlfriend walked into a pole while texting me (yeah, I'm the one that caused all this trouble in the first place), and was bleeding pretty badly along with some mild pain. Afterwards, when I facetiming with her, she kept on complaining on how much it hurt and how she thought it was a concussion. Now, being the person who HAS to know everything about anything (or is that anything about everything?), and I decided to google some symptoms on concussions to see what was up with my girlfriend's head. Just some backstory here, but I am VERY LOUD when explaining things and I also get VERY ENTHUSASTIC about it too, but I normally have a decently quiet voice. Due to this, my voice is usually pretty low when talking and my girlfriend has her volume turned up all the way. So here I am, very loudly and enthusiastically spewing out symptoms in a speedy, spectacular, and shouting style to someone with a (possible) concussion. As it so happens, one of the first symptoms I screamed was "patient irritable or sensitive to loud noises and light." She promptly broke down crying in pain.
TL;DR: Ignored myself and put my girlfriend with a concussion in so much pain she cried.
