PotD playthrough, need some help min-maxing my characters and a few other stats and talents related questions.

So, I decided to play through PoE on PotD difficulty, maybe not even full game, just to get a feel of the game on that difficulty so i can start a triple-crown playthrough, which is my ultimate goal. I'm a great lover of the type of games and almost always play these kind of games with near zero knowledge gathered from sources outside the game itself...but times have changed, now I don't have that much time to play games (almost not at all until a few weeks ago) so i wanted to inform myself just to cut the time I need to put into these things like I usually do.

---I haven't really decided yet what class my pc is going to be (not that it's important anyway, outside of rp perspective, since I'll make the whole party myself) so I wanna make this discussion about a dps/cc/heal part of the team.

-How important are healers for example in PotD and what class can do the roll well enough? What are the best stats and skills/talents for that role? I think that i read somewhere that player made parties for PotD don't need any healers, and I find that almost unbelievable...feel free to convince me otherwise!

---At least some of dps in the group are going to be ciphers and chanters. I already gathered that there are a few good races that can min/max both pretty good (wood elves, death godlike and so on) but my questions here are:

-Aside from might, dex and int (which I max) what other stats are important. Should i go for example 19/7/19/7/19/7 for my ranged cipher? Or maybe get my endurance even lower and boost perception or resolve?

-How important is class party diversity? For example, is there anything in PotD that wizards or priests cc better then some other classes?

-Is there any gear that might be crucial or greatly reduce the difficulty of the game that I need to be aware of? I finished the game once on normal and game was in all honesty very easy, aside from few fights I was unprepared for thou to blind playthrough.

Any advice on anything related to making PotD more enjoyable expirince is greatly appreciated, from stats to talents to hair style! Thanks in advance and peace to you all.
