TIFU by shooting a flare gun into the ceiling.

I just got done painting my flare gun and I walked into the house saying jokingly: NOW IM READY TO KILL SOMEBODY! Suddenly, BANG! HOLY S***! Much panic insued. People were laughing as I panic and examine the damage. I learned a valueuable lesson in gun safety that day.
