TIFU when my dad asked us what John 3:16 meant

Somewhat cliche but this happened awhile back .

My dad was raised in a christian house and always took Sundays to teach my siblings and I about the bible . One day he asks "Who knows what John 3:16 means?". Me being young and naive , raise my hand to answer the question , confident in it .

I pause for a bit then say "...John 3:16 means Fuck you ?" . My dad then told me to shut my mouth and leave the living room..... Thanks Stone Cold
