I was sitting in class, bored, not doing anything because our spring break starts tomorrow, and I realized I hadn't pranked anyone all day. My "shoulder partner" was on his phone, not really doing anything so I decided I'd play a prank on him. For ten minutes, I thought long and hard until I remembered that joke thread on ask reddit about "Mother's day," freaking everyone out about forgetting it. I turned to him, casually starting a conversation like normal, I said, wide-eyed, "Ooohh dude, I almost forgot it was mother's day today, I had to sprint to hallmark to buy my mom a gift to save my ass." He looked at me, his eyes grew wide and in a completely silent class he exclaimed "Oh, fuck! Are you serious?" Everyone in class looked up at him, the teacher looked up from whatever the hell important stuff she was doing, and said, "WHAT DID YOU SAY? YOU MAY TALK THAT WAY AT HOME BUT NOT HERE. SEE ME AFTER SCHOOL!" I got really red because this was all my fault, and the class was completely silent for the rest of the period. My friend hasn't contacted me since.
