TIFU by having purple hair

This happened a few weeks ago, while I was on vacation.

So a few days before going on vacation I dye my hair purple. I'd had it dyed before, but kind of forgot how big of a mess it is the first few times you shower after doing it. For those who maybe don't know, when you dye your hair and wash it out, color dye just runs out of your hair like crazy and you need to keep washing it until the water runs clear. The kind of dye I have, however, literally never stops running. (It's called Splat). So the first time I wash it I'm like "meh" and give up quickly. Fast forward a few days and I'm on vacation staying in a hotel room. I always try really hard to leave the room as nice as possible to create less work for the housekeepers.

At some point, I decide to do regular human things like take a shower. I hop in and am standing under the water for a minute or two before I realize HOLY SHIT THERE IS PURPLE EVERYWHERE. It is splashing all over the walls, the tub, it has gotten all over the white cloth curtain. It's EVERYWHERE. So I turn off the water. I try to reach for a towel without realizing my arms/hands are all purple. Purple drips all over the floor, I leave a purple handprint on the wall. I dry my hair off in a (white) towel. Towel is totally purple after. I get out, and work on scrubbing all the purple off everything. After 10 minutes of freaking out trying to erase the evidence, it looks pretty back to normal. Then I start drying my hair. Just as I'm almost done, I do my signature hair flip without thinking to help get rid of extra water and I FUCKING SPLATTERED PURPLE EVERYWHERE AGAIN.

I WISH I took a picture of this but I was freaking out so much mentally and felt like such a dick and was rushing to clean it up so I didn't.
